Invitations to PNP Were Sent Out by Manitoba, Ontario, and British Columbia.

Ontario, British Columbia, and Manitoba encouraged candidates to apply via their respective Provincial Nominee Programs this week (PNPs).

With the exception of Quebec and Nunavut, the majority of Canadian provinces and territories run independent provincial nomination programmes (PNP). Interested candidates may receive invitations from these programmes to submit applications for provincial nominations. Getting a provincial nomination may help you become a permanent resident of Canada.

No matter their economic status, only Quebec has the power to manage all immigration. The province of Quebec oversees the immigration policies in Quebec, which are separate from those in Canada.

The Provincial Nominee Program processes a total of 105,000 applications for permanent residence each year. The number of applications has continuously increased since the PNP was formed in 1998. It is seen as a powerful tool for fostering economic growth outside of urban regions by both the federal and provincial governments.
